It depends on what type of job or what you want to do at Altec. If you want to be a tech that provides services, the minimum is a high school diploma. The website does say that a background in mechanics would be helpful. I would suggest looking into your high school's technical school or trade school to see what programs they offer. If you want to be an engineer for Altec, that requires a college degree in engineering. After you graduate you would most likely apply for an entry level engineering position, and work with senior engineers for the next 2-3 years. After that, you would sit for an exam to become a professional engineer. If you go to their website, it has a list of all the jobs offered and the requirements for each.
