Hey there, Hannah! 😊

Based on your Safford, Arizona location, I'm guessing you're seeking some career or job-related advice. Let me offer you some pointers:

1. Discover your passions and strengths: What are the things you love doing or are really good at? These can guide you towards careers that match your interests and abilities.
2. Study job markets and trends: Check out the job scene in Safford, Arizona, and find out what careers are in high demand. Also, look at the national level to see which industries are booming or declining. This will help you choose a career wisely.
3. Learn from professionals: Connect with people in careers that catch your interest. Get insights about their experiences, salaries, and job requirements. This can give you a real feel of the job and help you decide if it's right for you.

Here are a few career paths you might want to consider:

1. Healthcare: Safford has several healthcare facilities, like the Safford Regional Medical Center and various medical clinics. Healthcare careers can be fulfilling and always in demand, with roles ranging from nursing to healthcare administration.
2. Education: If teaching or working in education appeals to you, there are many schools and educational institutions in Safford. Careers in education can be rewarding and offer a good work-life balance.
3. Tourism: With natural attractions like the Galiuro Wilderness and the Salt River Canyon nearby, careers in tourism could be a great fit if you love working with people and the outdoors.

To back up my suggestions, I recommend these three reliable sources:

1. "The Occupational Outlook Handbook" by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) - A detailed guide with information on a plethora of careers, including job duties, salary ranges, and job growth prospects.
2. "CareerOneStop" by the U.S. Department of Labor - A website with a wealth of resources for career exploration, including job listings, career assessments, and training opportunities.
3. "The Job Search Guide" by Forbes - A guide with tips and advice for job seekers on networking, creating a compelling resume, and acing interviews.

I hope this helps, Hannah! As you navigate your career journey, remember to align it with your interests, study the job market, and learn from professionals. 😊

Deborah’s Answer

Choosing a career is a significant decision, and it can be challenging, especially when you're in high school. The question of "what career should people do" is a complex one because it depends on various factors, including your interests, skills, values, and personal goals. The key is to explore your passions and consider what you enjoy doing. Think about the subjects or activities that excite you the most. This could be anything from a love of science, a passion for art, a desire to help others, or an interest in technology. Identifying your interests can guide you toward careers that align with your strengths and what you genuinely enjoy.

Another important factor to consider is the impact you want to make in the world. Do you want to help people directly, contribute to scientific advancements, create art that inspires, or work with technology to solve problems? Understanding your values and the kind of impact you want to have on the world can help you narrow down your career choices. Additionally, consider seeking guidance from teachers, counselors, and mentors who can provide valuable insights and advice based on your strengths and interests. Keep in mind that career decisions are not set in stone, and it's okay to explore different paths before finding the one that truly resonates with you. The key is to stay open to new opportunities and experiences along the way.

Rebecca’s Answer

Thank you for your question. The most important is to identify the careers you have interest.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Think about what you have interest, e.g. your hobbies, favourite subjects, etc and identify the related careers
E.g. If you like music, would you like to be a singer, musician, musical artist, music producer, music composer, etc.
If you have interest in maths, would you like to be an accountant, engineer, financial analyst, banker, maths teacher, etc.
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counsellor, your parents, etc.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in the college
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
