There are a lot of different jobs in the field of construction. So many that it's impossible to make a list of them all. Well, not really, but it would be a long list. You can work out in the field building things or you could work in an office supporting the construction of things. Construction includes financial planning so that you know what the cost of building something will be and if it will make sense to build.
Or, you could be an architect or engineer who helps plan and design a building. Or work with the City or town where a building is going to be built and check on whether the building is being built properly according to the permits issued, zoning requirements, etc.
In the field, maybe you work as a welder, or a carpenter or a plumber or ????
Careers in construction are a great opportunity to use your hands or your brains or both. And, a lot of construction jobs pay pretty well, so you can earn a nice living.
I am just trying to give you an overview of the field of construction. From houses to 60 story buildings to factories, building construction is a huge field, it's done all over the world, at all times of year and, if you move, you take your knowledge of construction with you. So, the opportunities are great and depending on what role you play, you can get to see things rise out of the ground and be proud of what you've built.
Maybe try to contact some building/construction companies and ask if you can have an "informational interview" to learn more about the field.
