If your songs can be translated to an instrument that can be played on the street find that busy or not-so busy street corner and start playing and leave a hat out for tips.
And it wasn’t just playing on a street corner that he found to be so helpful because he had gigs at night too- the experience of leaving home and going to an unfamiliar place where he didn’t know anyone with his collected non-musical experiences there came to be inspirations of great value to him.
