Usually it is because they have a well established network and references in place when they leave college.

They get these by working internships (yes, even unpaid internships), doing volunteer work, obtaining professional certifications to supplement their education, and using job resources, like the college career center, to help make contacts within their occupations and getting insight on higher paying positions.

This provides the benefits, information and experience they need to obtain higher paid employment.

Good day. One of the best ways to get a job right out of college is to find a good internship while completing your undergrad studies. Work hard and build a great reputation with the companies you intern for. Then, upon graduation, you stand a better chance of securing a good full-time job since you objectively have a clear advantage now over the other candidates - your familiarity with the companies in question.

I firmly believe that the most straightforward way to land a job while you're still in school, or immediately after graduation, is to apply for programs specifically designed for individuals with zero to two years of experience. Participating in trainee programs can be particularly beneficial, as they often allow you to dabble in various fields such as marketing, finance, and so on, helping you discover your true passion.

Furthermore, if there's a specific company you're interested in, I recommend reaching out to its employees on LinkedIn. This could also include alumni from your university who might be able to refer you.

As Chidi mentioned, internships are key to get your foot in the door after college. Apply to internships in your sophomore and junior years so you have some real world experience under your belt before graduating. Many companies that offer internships also retain great talent so you may even land a full time offer after the internship period ends. This is exactly what happened in my case. I was a summer intern at my current company during my junior year of college. A few months after my internship ended, I received a full time offer to start after graduation and the rest is history!
