What should I do to apply?
What if I would be interested in joining and applying for a science, let's say, astrology. How would I be able to apply to the study of stars or animation, animation.

I like your creativity in maybe trying to combine things that are star-related with animation. I think you could use the great symbols of the zodiac (like the lion, crab, fishes, etc.) in animation and make them come alive. Astrology is not really a science, although there were some studies years ago that showed a mild relationship between the sign folks were born under and the profession they chose. The real science is astronomy. I think if you have a chance, your should visit a big planetarium to see the stars in action. Maybe you could apply for some classes in animation at an art school. And if you’re into some in-depth science, look into books, classes and clubs that study astronomy. Best of luck, Billi!

Hey Billi! Would love to help answer this question. Are you referring to animation as the science? I believe astrology isn't classified as a science, and I'm wondering if you mean astronomy?
Also, are you hoping to combine the above with animation? Or are you thinking about them as two separate options?
Sorry for any misunderstanding on my part, just want to make sure I'm getting the question right so I can answer well.

Hello Bili,
Astrology and animation are two fascinating fields, each with its own unique charm. Let's dive into how you can explore each one:
Astrology:
Astrology is the intriguing study of how celestial bodies' positions might influence our lives and the world around us. It's worth pointing out that astrology is often viewed as metaphysical or pseudoscience, unlike astronomy, which is a scientific study of celestial objects.
If astrology piques your interest, here are some ways you can delve deeper:
Independent Study: Kick-start your journey with books, workshops, and online resources to get a grip on astrology's principles.
Courses and Workshops: Look out for courses or workshops offered by educational institutions or astrology societies. These can provide a deeper understanding of astrology's concepts, history, and applications.
University Programs: While not many universities offer dedicated astrology programs, some do have astrology courses tucked within broader religious or cultural studies programs.
Animation:
Animation is the art of bringing images to life through the manipulation of visual elements. It's a field that perfectly blends creativity and technical skills, with areas like 2D animation, 3D animation, visual effects, character design, and more.
Here's a roadmap to help you navigate the world of animation:
Art and Design Foundations: Start by building a strong base in art and design. This could involve courses in drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
Animation Specific Studies: Seek out specialized animation programs at universities, art schools, or specialized institutions. These programs usually cover software training, storytelling, character development, and animation techniques.
Building a Portfolio: As you learn, start building a portfolio to showcase your skills. A strong portfolio is often valued by employers and educational institutions.
Applying for Study:
When it comes to applying for either astrology or animation, the process usually involves:
Research: Find institutions or programs that match your interests and goals. Look at aspects like curriculum, faculty, resources, and alumni success.
Application Requirements: Get a clear understanding of the prerequisites, application deadlines, and required materials (like transcripts, recommendation letters, portfolios, or essays).
Apply: Fill out and submit your application materials as per the institution's guidelines.
While astrology and animation might seem like worlds apart, they both demand dedication, skill-building, and a love for the subject. Feel free to explore both and see which one strikes a chord with your interests and ambitions!
