What is the best Minnesota school to go to get my teaching degree?

I’m Megan I’m a senior at Rogers senior high MN. I am also in AVID so we have been looking at school but I am stuck on where to go. I want to do a 2 year 2 year program, getting my generals done then transferring. I am looking for advice. I also don’t know what subject or grade I want to teach yet.

The best people to ask about teaching programs are your own teachers :) Ask them questions like "where did you get your teaching credential? what was challenging or easy about it? any advice for me since I'm thinking of becoming a teacher?" Plus your teachers may have known you for a long time and so they can share their observations about how you're doing in school, what you're like around other classmates, and how well you would do in college.

Hello Megan!

In the state of Minnesota, you will find a variety of schools that provide programs for a teaching degree.

As per the U.S. News & World Report, the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities holds the top spot for education in Minnesota.

In addition to this, other institutions in Minnesota that offer programs for a teaching degree include Minnesota State University–Mankato, St. Cloud State University, and Winona State University.

To ensure that you choose a program that aligns with your unique needs and career aspirations, it's crucial to thoroughly research and compare the programs offered by these institutions.
