Linda Ann’s Answer

A bachelor’s degree in psychology is generally NOT sufficient to be engaged as a counseling professional. You will need to Urdu’s at least a masters degree and get a credential as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a certified Marriage and Family Counselor.

I suggest that you go to the website of the American Counseling Association and review all of the materials at that website!

Even Guidance Counselors in a high school need an advanced degree beyond the BA or BS.

Good luck!
