LaTonia’s Answer

Hello,

My schedule varies.

You may find varying schedules depending on the type of career or service your industry entails. If you are in a service industry, your schedule is determined by the contacts for servicing. If you are in a production industry, the schedule is determined by the role you are in, and the expectations required by the management team. If you are self-employed, you can determine your own schedule based on your business needs.

Good luck finding your path!

Dawson’s Answer

Hi Robert! I work in the Sales department for Salesforce and my hours can vary quite a bit! As members of the sales team, we aim to provide technology to other businesses and we try to close as many deals as we can throughout the year. However for measuring purposes, we break the year into 4 quarters (3 months each quarter). So typically, my schedule will be quite busy towards the end of any given quarter, as the sales reps that I support are trying to close as many deals as they can before the quarter ends, as that's how they're measured on their performance. It could be anywhere from 40-60 hours per week in the last month of a quarter. However when it's the start of a new quarter, this isn't as much pressure to close as many deals as quickly as possible, so that could be a lower range of 25-40 hours per week at the start of a quarter. Hope this helps provide some insight!

Marcelius Levites’s Answer

Hi Robert, I trust you're kicking off the New Year with gusto. Your query is somewhat understandable, yet it could benefit from more specifics. Although I'm not a medical professional, I do have experience in the herbal industry. I presume that medical professionals start their day by identifying and completing the tasks they need to finish before heading home. This could include seeing patients, scheduling appointments, or following up on previous consultations. Each day brings new challenges, so it's hard to predict what will happen, but there's always work to be done.

If you're considering a career in this field, I suggest participating in a summer internship or volunteering at events related to your field of interest. This will give you a better understanding of the job before you commit to it. Shadowing professionals in your chosen career is also highly recommended before making a final decision.

I hope this advice is useful. Best wishes!
