I’m interested in learning about what A Day in the Life was like for an architect.
So far I have learned that it's pretty difficult to keep up with the client's budget and desires, I would like to know what other difficulties architects face.

Hello Andres! I highly recommend reaching out to multiple architectural firms. See if they offer intern programs or support students through mentorship and immersive experiences like "A Day in the Life" tours and engagements.
You should definitely check out the ACE Mentor Program of America, it's a wonderful opportunity: https://www.acementor.org/
Also, don't miss out on the USC School of Architecture's mentorship program: https://arch.usc.edu/mentorship
These could be great stepping stones for your career. Keep going, you're doing great!

To address the latter part of your question first, the task of balancing budgets is merely a single facet in the multifaceted career of an architect. I'd go even further to suggest that aligning expectations is the daily goal for the majority of architects. Some may adjust these expectations throughout the day, collaborating with their team to devise various solutions. Others might initiate discussions with engineers in the morning, followed by conversations with contractors in the afternoon. However, a seasoned architect should possess the ability to set and maintain the same expectations consistently. Feel free to ask if you require more information.
