As a real estate broker, your earnings are directly tied to the value of the properties you sell, with a single-digit percentage serving as your commission. This means that the more properties you successfully sell, the greater your income becomes. It's a rewarding profession that truly values hard work and dedication.
Thank you!

The amount of money you make in real estate is heavily dependent on commission. What that means, is the more houses you sell, the more money you make. A typical commission for real estate agents is between 6-10%, meaning if you had a commision rate of 10% and sold a house for $300,000, you would make $30,000.
Typically, when you begin a career in real estate, you will not be selling houses, but making cold calls to potential buyers. This means it will be difficult to make $70,000+, but as you gain experience, pass your certifications, and learn, you will begin to sell and the money you make will be uncapped and determined by how hard you work and how good you are at your job!
I hope this helps!

I have a little experience in the real estate business, but only as a side gig. I will say the best realtors out there are ones are are thoughtful, personable, and can deals done while making both parties feeling good about it. But what that means is you have to be available all hours of the day and typically nights. It can feel like you're always on the clock. So if you're okay with that your earnings potential can be very lucrative. However, sometimes it can be hard to juggle that work/life balance
I am really grateful you took the time to answer this question.

The amount you make in real estate is unlimited, but there are many factors that play into how much you will make. Be sure you have the personality required to make it in this type of business. Sign up with a broker who is fair. Be ready to devote your time and effort to making sure deals close. You will put in a lot of work before it's time to show up at closing and collect the check:-)
Thank you for taking the time to help.

Hi,
Real estate is an awesome field in that compensation is relatively unlimited as it is a 100% commission based role. I would recommend starting in commercial real estate so that you can learn more about the industry while also working under a company vs yourself.
