Hello Adrian,
A Marketing Manager should maintain kindness and professionalism towards coworkers, even when there are disagreements about ideas. Being kind fosters a positive work environment that encourages open communication and collaboration, which are essential for creative and strategic processes in marketing. It’s important to approach dissent with empathy and an open mind, considering different viewpoints as potentially valuable contributions that can lead to more refined, comprehensive strategies. By remaining respectful and constructive, a Marketing Manager can build strong team dynamics and lead more effectively, ensuring that disagreements are opportunities for growth rather than conflict. Ultimately, kindness and respect can lead to better team cohesion and more successful marketing outcomes.

Absolutely, and this is not just in Marketing but in any profession or any facet of life. Kindness, respectfulness and honest listening is important every day and everywhere even if those who don't agree with you are not practicing it and it is not just for them but more so for you!
When you truly listen to people with differing opinions, your solutions and opinions become much fuller and better thought out. If you discuss them you with people that are genuinely looking to come up with a better answer you build your network and a pool of people you can discuss things and build better solutions with. If you are combative, withdrawn, intimidated or even angry your creative mind shuts down and you start becoming part of the problem or at best unproductive.
You have no control over other people but you do control yourself and your reaction to them.
Good Luck in all you do!
