I Really value Money,Creativity and Leadership. What jobs or career paths align with these values?

Any information is helpful

Thank you comment icon First figure out which is more important? Everyone wants money but not everyone want to put in the time, move up the ladder, invest in the possibility of having money. You are a seed at this point. You need to plant your feet in the right soil in order to grow properly. The fruit of your labor or study will be determined on the fertilizer you use. What are you willing to do for the money you want legally, how creative can you be in searching opportunities which can lead to your financial goals? Can you commit yourself to following as well as mimicking those who have achieved their financial goals. Then most importantly can you control your desire for such to avoid being lead into situations that are designed to take what you so rightfully earned. Steward "Tony" Pacheco

Hi Quentin! Those 3 values work together very well.

Here are some broad jobs and career paths that align with your values:
If any of these interest you, I included some tips on how to prepare for the career.

1. Entrepreneur: Being an entrepreneur allows for creativity in starting a business, leadership in running the company, and the potential for significant earnings.
-> To prepare: Start by developing a strong understanding of business fundamentals. This could be through formal education like a business degree, or through self-study and experience. Critical skills include understanding finance, marketing, and management. It's also beneficial to gain experience in the industry you're interested in. Start by identifying a problem you can solve with a product or service and build a business plan around it.

2. Marketing/Advertising Director: This role requires creativity to come up with innovative marketing strategies, leadership to manage a team, and it typically offers a good salary.
-> To prepare: A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is often required. You could start in an entry-level marketing position and work your way up, gaining experience in different aspects of marketing such as social media, content creation, and market research. Leadership skills can be developed through managing projects or small teams.

3. Financial Analyst or Investment Banker: These roles are well-compensated and require a strong understanding of money and finance. Although I will admit these are not traditionally 'creative' roles, they do require innovative thinking to solve financial problems and identify investment opportunities.
-> To prepare: A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is typically required. Internships at financial institutions could provide valuable experience. Certifications, like the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, can also be beneficial. Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial markets are key.

4. Product Manager: This role requires creativity to develop and improve products, leadership to drive product strategy and work with teams, and has the potential for high earnings.
-> To prepare: This role often requires a background in business or engineering, depending on the industry. Experience in project management, marketing, or a related field can be helpful. An MBA can also be beneficial. As a product manager, you'll need a mix of technical knowledge, business acumen, and leadership skills.

5. Real Estate Developer: This career involves creativity in envisioning and planning properties, leadership in overseeing projects, and significant financial rewards if the projects are successful.
-> To prepare: While there's no specific degree required to become a real estate developer, degrees in real estate, business, finance, or related fields can be beneficial. Start by gaining experience in the real estate industry, either through real estate sales, property management, or construction.

6. Film Producer: This job involves creativity in shaping the direction of films, leadership in managing projects and teams, and the potential for significant earnings if the films are successful.
-> To prepare: This role often requires a degree in film, communication, or a related field. Start by gaining experience in the film industry, which could include roles like production assistant or script reader. This career requires a mix of creative vision, financial planning skills, and leadership abilities.

Overall: For all these careers, soft skills such as communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work under pressure are also important. Seek out internships, mentorships, and networking opportunities in your chosen field to gain experience and make valuable connections.

I hope this helps!

Hi Quentin - it might be an unexpected answer, but I'd recommend you consider a major global consulting firm. Here is how this will hit on your objectives.

Money --> These are challenging jobs to get, but if you can position yourself as the best of the best, you'll get an offer at a top firm and will be on track for an exceptionally strong salary.

Leadership --> Within consulting, you need to show up as a leader with your clients. Even right out of school, you'll need a strong presence and point of view, and will have the opportunity and expectation to leverage your knowledge and skill base to provide guidance and recommendations on many, many complex organizational challenges.

Creativity --> Consulting is, at its core, problem solving and communication. It's about taking a set of information that anyone would have access to, and using your knowledge and experience to diagnose a problem, recommend a solution, and frame that in such a way that it's convincing and compelling. That takes creativity.
