Jerome’s Answer
For me, time management is looking at what you want and breaking it down into manageable chunks. I always wanted to speak at large conferences, but to do that, I needed experience. I put a few hours each week on my calendar to contact local non-profits where I would volunteer to speak. Eventually, someone at one of those workshops offered to pay me.
What do you want? What will it take to get there? How much time will it take?
Break that into small parts and be consistent weekly/daily in getting there.
I am a procrastinator and found it helpful to have someone to check in on me occasionally.

Dear Liton,
Mastering Time Management
Time management is the art of strategically organizing and planning how to allocate your time across different activities. It involves goal-setting, task prioritization, and assigning the appropriate amount of time to each task. By managing time effectively, you can work more efficiently, not necessarily harder, leading to improved productivity and decreased stress levels.
A crucial part of time management is goal-setting. Establishing clear targets helps you prioritize your tasks based on their significance and urgency. This approach allows you to concentrate on what truly matters and prevents you from squandering time on less important activities.
Task prioritization is another vital aspect of time management. Understanding that not all tasks carry the same weight is essential, and it's crucial to identify which activities are of utmost importance and need immediate attention. Prioritizing tasks ensures that you dedicate your time and effort to the most critical activities first.
Creating a timetable is also fundamental for effective time management. By mapping out your day or week beforehand, you can assign specific time slots for each task or activity. This approach aids in maintaining organization, focus, and adherence to your schedule throughout the day.
Procrastination avoidance is another key to successful time management. Procrastination can result in wasted time and elevated stress levels. By addressing tasks promptly and not delaying them, you can sustain productivity and accomplish your goals more effectively.
In essence, time management is about maximizing the use of the 24 hours we all have each day through goal-setting, task prioritization, schedule creation, and procrastination avoidance. By honing these skills, individuals can boost their productivity, decrease stress, and achieve a healthier work-life balance.
Transforming Your Life
If you're aiming to transform your life, whether in your career or overall lifestyle, there are several steps you can undertake:
Establish Clear Goals: Determine what you aspire to achieve in your career or personal life. Clear goals provide a sense of direction and motivation for change.
Formulate a Plan: After setting your goals, devise a plan on how to reach them. Break your goals down into smaller, manageable steps that you can consistently work on.
Pursue Growth Opportunities: Seek chances to acquire new skills, broaden your knowledge, and develop both professionally and personally. This could involve enrolling in courses, participating in workshops, or finding a mentor.
Network: Cultivating a robust network of contacts can lead to new opportunities for career progression or personal development. Connect with individuals who share your interests and can provide support and guidance on your journey.
Welcome Change: Transforming your life often involves stepping out of your comfort zone and embracing new challenges. Be receptive to change and ready to take risks to achieve your goals.
Remember, life transformation is a gradual process that demands dedication, persistence, and a positive attitude. By actively working towards your goals and embracing growth opportunities, you can enhance your career and overall life quality.

Time management is the process of planning and organizing how you divide your time between activities or tasks effectively to achieve your personal goals. When done correctly, time management allows you to work more efficiently and make the most of your available time. Here are some key components related to time management:
Setting goals: Identify your short-term and long-term goals, both personal and professional/academically. Setting clear, achievable goals provides direction and helps you prioritize your tasks.
Prioritizing tasks: Determine which tasks are most important or urgent and prioritize them accordingly. Keep in mind day-to-day tasks as well as incremental tasks that work towards any long-term goals you may have.
Creating a schedule: Keep a schedule or to-do list outlining the tasks you need to accomplish and plan time for each task. This can be done digitally or in a notebook.
Taking breaks: Incorporate regular breaks or personal activities into your schedule to rest and recharge.
While it can seem overwhelming and a challenge at first, proper time management can have a significant benefit on your overall well-being and allow you to maximize your time and energy.

Imagine time management as a superhero skill that helps you make the most of your day. It's like having a plan or a schedule to organize your activities so that you can get everything done without feeling rushed or stressed.
For example, let's say you have homework, chores, and some fun things you want to do. Time management is like creating a friendly timetable for yourself. You decide how much time to spend on each task, making sure you have enough time for everything you enjoy.
It's a bit like being the captain of your own ship, steering it in the right direction. When you manage your time well, you can finish your homework without feeling overwhelmed and still have time to play your favorite video game or hang out with friends.
So, time management is not about fitting everything into a super tight schedule. Instead, it's about finding a balance that works for you, helping you have a smooth and enjoyable day where you get to do the things you need to do and the things you love to do.

Liton, I appreciate that you're asking just an honest, open ended question that people ask regularly.
You asked what is time management and how do you change your life, so let's tackle both of those together. Changing/ Improving your life takes a lot of intentionality (some might say willpower) and resilience. Those are useful traits to have and build in your life. Therefore, if you're going to improve or change your life, you need some tools to help you build those character traits and trajectory.
A key tool people use to help them improve or change their life is time management. Time management is a critical skill for effectively navigating both personal and professional life; it is the catalyst that builds your character which will extend its influence on the trajectory of your life. So, what is time management? Time management is organizing and planning out your days and week to week plans. Here is the beauty of life: every single one of us gets 24 hours, what we do with that is a combination of what we choose and what we need to do. Truthfully, time management helps us see the margin in our lives and showing us what we are investing in.
Some of the other responses gave some clear ways to start doing time management, but I hope my response gave you some clarity on how those two things intersect and give you some why behind doing time management.

There are quite a few decent free time management tools out there now (google search will bring up A LOT). I think my single biggest tip is that what works for you may not work for others and vice versa. And even further, when you find something that works for you it may not always work for you! I know, sounds challenging. But what's good about that is it doesn't mean you're just doomed to struggle, it just means you haven't found the right thing that "clicks" for you, and you can keep trying. Whether it's a digital tool, a note-taking style, or just time-boxing out your day...keep experimenting. You've got this.

Thank you for your question. Time management can help you to use your time more efficiently so that you can keep motivated and have enough time for rest. Firstly, you need to identify a time management tool that suits you, e.g. Google Calendar, Phone Calendar, MS Outlook, etc.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Put down the time you need to attend school
2. Allocate some time every time for the assignment, projects, etc. and review the material covered in the class
3. Make sure you have sufficient time to sleep and do some exercise
4. You can assign some time for leisure and have some time for friends and family gathering
5. Before assessment and exam, you may need to assign more time for revision
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Time management is how you organise your time to achieve all that you need to, and rest as well.
Currently I use a mixture of calendars (Outlook, Google) and Microsoft To Do (a virtual to-do list). This helps me stay on top of my work schedule (meetings etc.), home schedule (appointments, responsibilities) and tasks both at work and at home.
I use time blocking to block out time for important tasks that require deeper thinking. I also block out time for rest and relaxation.
