A lot of high schools and local businesses have scholarships so work with your guidance counselor to navigate all scholarship opportunities locally and nationally. Community colleges are also much cheaper than 4 year schools so don't be afraid to study for 2 years at a local community college. Great way to save money and with good grades more scholarships and financial aid may be available. Trades such as welding, carpentry, and many others are great ways to build a career and learning the business and becoming a future business owner.

HI Lino! If you're looking to apply for a loan from HELB, start by checking your eligibility. Once you're eligible, create an account on the HELB website and fill out the application form with accurate information about your course and financial need. Gather the required documents, like your ID and admission letter, and submit them online. After review and verification, if approved, HELB will allocate a loan amount based on your financial need. The loan funds will be disbursed directly to your institution to cover tuition fees and other expenses. Don't forget to stay updated on any communication from HELB and make sure to repay the loan after you finish your studies. Good luck with your application!
