Where would I look for internships?
I want to apply for internships preferably paid but I don't know how to do that.

Hey there!
I have completed three internships during my college experience and have found all of them on LinkedIn! In fact, I have job alerts set up on LinkedIn to notify me when certain internship titles become available, which has come in handy.
If you have your eyes on working for a certain company, go directly to their website to see any job listings / internships they have available, sometimes bigger companies do not advertise jobs on LinkedIn. Also, it's better to start early for these bigger companies. I know internships for Amazon and Nestle open up in mid-January for Summer internships of that year, some are even earlier.

Looking for internships is difficult, especially in urban areas where there is a dense population and heavy competition. Some of the websites that I used were:

My school rolled out a platform called Handshake, which featured local businesses and even multinational companies with openings. Don't be discouraged if you don't get the position you were seeking for. Keep applying! Often times, your first job is a far cry from what your ideal job is. As long as you keep trying, you'll get there one day.
