Thank you for your question. Many students have similar question. Firstly, you need to find out what careers you have interest.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Think about what careers you have interest, e.g. your hobbies, favourite subjects ,etc. and identify the related careers
E.g. If you like music, would you like to be a musician, musical artist, singer, music composer, music producer, etc.
If you have interest in maths, would you like to be an accountant, engineer, banker, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc.
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counsellor, your parents, etc.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Start by thinking about the things you enjoy doing. Do a search on google for that online. For me, I love talking with people, so I would search "Jobs where I get to talk with people". You can also ask others in your life what they thing you could be good at. You might find an answer that you weren't expecting. The good news is that there isn't a single right answer, there are many paths to success,

Hi Matthew,
Choosing a career in business can seem overwhelming due to the vast number of paths available. To simplify your decision-making process, start by assessing your interests and strengths. Reflect on the aspects of business that excite you most, whether it’s finance, marketing, human resources, or another area. Consider also what skills you naturally excel in, such as analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, or interpersonal communication.
Next, explore the various roles within your areas of interest. You can do this by reading job descriptions, speaking with professionals in the field, and potentially shadowing them or seeking internships. This real-world exposure will give you a clearer picture of what each role entails and how it matches your skills and interests.
Finally, consider your long-term goals. Think about where you see yourself in five to ten years and what kind of work environment you thrive in. Do you aspire to climb the corporate ladder, or would you prefer to start your own business? Aligning your career choice with your future aspirations will help ensure that you remain motivated and committed to your professional path. Remember, the key to a successful career in business lies in continuous learning and adaptability, so stay curious and open to new opportunities as they arise.
