- Tenacity and patience go together since it may take tenacity to get the resources you need or to tweak data collection; it may also take patience to do this things as well as sort through data sets to see patterns
- Depending upon what you research or what you find, you may need courage to stick by your findings and conclusions or to continue research that others may think is unimportant
