Not sure in your area but once you get the experience and if your good and hustle you can make anywhere from 100-160k a year at a dealership. It's a great skill to have and couldn't count the money it saves you from paying for car repairs and having to have a new car with a warranty. Also money is important so keep and invest as much as possible.
