Laurie’s Answer

I always wanted to be a teacher, and I was fortunate enough to have done that for 30 years! No matter what you want to do for your career, you need to do a lot of research and preparation, ask a lot of questions, and, learn what you need to do to achieve your specific career goals. Finding a mentor in your chosen career is extremely helpful, too!
Have you researched what you need to do so you can achieve your goal of becoming a professional footballer?

Kathleen’s Answer

I didn't really know until I was a senior in high school! But I grew up on a small lake in Michigan and had a love for nature, science, and biology and I loved biology and lab experiments in school. So when I was deciding on a major for college, I was drawn to clinical laboratory science. And it was a great career with a variety of applications for over 50 years.
