I always wanted to be a teacher, and I was fortunate enough to have done that for 30 years! No matter what you want to do for your career, you need to do a lot of research and preparation, ask a lot of questions, and, learn what you need to do to achieve your specific career goals. Finding a mentor in your chosen career is extremely helpful, too!

A finance director or an auditor, that's what I want to be! It took me a good 12 years to realize it, but I'm confident everything will fall into place eventually.

I didn't really know until I was a senior in high school! But I grew up on a small lake in Michigan and had a love for nature, science, and biology and I loved biology and lab experiments in school. So when I was deciding on a major for college, I was drawn to clinical laboratory science. And it was a great career with a variety of applications for over 50 years.

I've had multiple passions and ideas for my future over the course of my life from marine biologist to aerospace engineer to interior designer to dermatologist to even a chef! My advice is to always keep yourself open to new ideas and interests because you may never know when you might stumble into your passion. In high school, I was really able to hone in and discover that I loved biology and once in college, I discovered I loved immunology from one class I took, which is still the path I am on today.
