What can I do to be professional engineer?
What do I have to do to become a professional Engineer and how to do I work toward being the best in the field and make a good career of it, I will like to get answer back on this.

In the US, the process is that you pursue a degree in an Engineering discipline. Once you're graduated (or close to graduation), you would take and pass the EIT(Engineer-in-Training) exam. After you joined a company or otherwise obtained a certain amount of Engineering experience, you need to take and pass PE (Professional Engineer) exam in your State or another State of your choice. For details, be sure to check the Board of Engineers of your State.
Please note that once you are licensed as a PE in one State, you are not licensed in other States automatically. In order to be a PE in another State, you would have to apply to that State's Board of Engineers and follow their rules. The process of endorsement in other States can be much easier if you create an NCEES Record. Please visit NCEES website on how to create a Record. However, that is not applicable right now for you. I would advise you to first focus on finishing your engineering degree.
