Zachery’s Answer

A marine biologist studies the ecology of all marine life and systems. Maybe they will be scuba diving and studying the life cycle of a coral reef, or some species of fish, or maybe they are observing ocean currents. They also work above the water, such as in shallow water streams. There is such a variety of things to do in this field. According to ziprecruiter.com the average salary is about $50,000 a year, which in my opinion, isn't "a lot of money," as you asked, not in the U.S. in 2024, but I assure you that having a good career isn't always about the salary. The benefits often make up where a salary lacks. Benefits can include health insurance, time off, financial mentoring, retirement plans, and of course, loving what you do is a huge benefit.
