Hi Trent!
To earn money online, there are several simple options you can start with right away. You can try freelancing on platforms like Upwork or Fiverr, where you can offer services such as writing, graphic design, or virtual assistance, depending on your skills. If you’re good at writing, you can write articles, blog posts, or even scripts for others. Another option is to do small tasks like online surveys, data entry, or testing websites for companies. You could also consider selling things you no longer need on sites like eBay or Facebook Marketplace. If you're willing to learn a new skill, many free resources online can teach you how to earn through digital marketing, social media management, or creating simple content like videos. Start small and build from there, but focus on what you can do right now to bring in money quickly.

Maximilian’s Answer

Hi,

you can do small things such as buying some things on ebay, temu or amazon and try to resell them.
As well you could get into selling based on a brand. You would need to find a niche, become an expert in it, then create a brand for it and afterwards monetise it.

online gambling is definitely not an option.

Atul’s Answer

Why do you prefer to earn money only through online means?
If you're truly passionate about supporting your family, here are some fun and engaging ways you can do so:
- You can provide babysitting services for adorable little ones or even newborns.
- How about offering to tidy up yards, blow away leaves, or clear out snow in your local area?
- If you're a whiz at certain subjects, why not share your knowledge through tutoring?
- You don't need to be an expert to assist a professional painter, even if it's just a weekend gig.
- Join the bustling environment of a fast food chain and earn money as a friendly cashier or helper.

1. Exploring Websites and Apps
User Testing: Websites such as UserTesting or TryMyUI offer payment to individuals for testing out websites and apps, and sharing their thoughts on how well they work and how enjoyable they are to use.
Tip: Testing websites is a task you can easily fit into your free time, and it's a swift way to make some extra cash.

2. Inputting Data
Online Tasks: Data entry roles involve inputting or handling data for various businesses. Websites like Upwork, Freelancer, or Remote.co have part-time data entry roles up for grabs.
Tip: While data entry tasks are generally straightforward, they can sometimes become monotonous. Be sure to seek out genuine job listings and steer clear of scams by sticking to trustworthy job platforms.

Hi,

To earn online, there are few options a student might checkout.
Learn an online skill so you can earn some part-time money.

As a student, the one of the easiest way to earn money is by writing articles/blogs for websites that pays you. Websites usually pays $50 to $100 for a single article, by which you can easily earn $2000 - $2500 per month.

Here are a few websites that pays you to write articles for them.

https://penpee.com/

When I was a student, that's how I used to earn money by writing articles for different websites. And I was able to earn around $2500 per month.

The best part is you can write whenever you want. You aren't bound with them.

Martha’s Answer

Trent, I commend you for wanting to help your family. And you have gotten terrific ideas for earning money. It may take a while to find a job and climb the learning curve.

In the meantime, I have put some links below for getting nourishment for you and your family. These are from a search for Maine, NY. Don't worry about it being from the AARP Foundation. These resources are not just for people over 65 years old.

I also suggest that you ask either the social worker or your guidance counselor in your school for resources. There also may be resources in your town government, but I couldn't find them online.

Good luck!
