Hi Preston! I hope this message finds you well. There are a few ways of going about joining college. You may want to consider something like dual-enrollment, where you can take college level classes as a high school student to earn both high school and college credit at the same time or you may want to wait until closer to graduation to apply to a school of your choice. It really just depends on which situation fits you best. I would highly encourage you to check out dual-enrollment to see if it is something that is of interest to you to see if it is an option. It offers alot of benefits. As far as choosing a career, I would do some research in areas of interest to see what you would be looking at in terms of schooling, does it require a college degree or can you go to tech school or possibly a trade school? Then you might even ask someone in that particular field what they see as pros and cons. This can be insightful and give you a more realistic view of the career. I hope this helps!

Thank you for your question. Usually, students would attend college after the high school meeting the entry criteria. You better consider the careers you have interest so that you can choose the relevant subjects as your major.
Below are my suggestions:
1. Think about what you have interest, eg your hobbies, favourite subjects, etc and identify the related careers
Eg. If you have interest in maths, would you like to be an accountant, engineer, banker, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc
If you like music, would you like to be a musician singer, musical artist, music composer, music producer, etc
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counselor, your parents, etc
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!
