Exploring new career options while working full-time can be exciting! Here are some effective ways to research careers beyond just Googling:

Networking: Attend industry meetups, conferences, or local professional groups. Connecting with people in fields of interest can provide insights and firsthand experiences.

Informational Interviews: Reach out to professionals in your desired fields and ask for short meetings to learn about their jobs and career paths.

Online Courses: Platforms like Coursera or LinkedIn Learning offer courses that can help you explore different fields and gain new skills.

Volunteer or Shadow: Look for volunteer opportunities or shadowing programs in areas that intrigue you. This hands-on experience can be invaluable.

Career Assessments: Take career assessment tests available online or through career services to identify strengths and interests that align with various careers.

Exploring these avenues can provide clarity and help you make informed decisions!

Since you are currently working. you could access ONET, a great government supported system where you can enter your current job and it will generate other jobs and information based on your "transferable" skills and interest. Going about researching jobs this way gives you job options that you can transition into without having to take steps back to make a chance. You could also take career tests, many which generate careers and related information based on your preferences, interests, skills and personality. Recommend the book "what's color is your parachute" as it has some great exercises to help you identify careers. Check the transferable skills exercise.
