Consider what truly ignites your passion or what could potentially spark your professional interest. Engaging in internships or co-ops is a great way to gain experience and discover what truly excites you. Embrace the opportunity to explore different paths without fear. Remember, your starting point doesn't dictate your destination. It's perfectly okay to change course along the way.

I think this is where trying out different internships can come handy as you still have more time to figure out what you like while you are in school, also with more flexibility compared to being a full-time employee. Explore different opportunities and try to see what you liked about your job and what you didn't. I think that will really give you a better idea on what you career path you want to pursue. Also, if you are in school, try out different things, try out different classes and see what you like. Join different orgs and talk to people that are going through similar experiences as you and hear different perspectives. Set up coffee chats with people in professions that interest you - ask them about their day-to-day work life and what projects they are working on. You can see if they excite you and you can always explore more.
