Being successful is a wonderful goal! Add to that enjoying life and giving back, and you will have few regrets. At 14, you can begin your journey of success by volunteering for a variety of activities. Try doing things you haven't done before to see if they might be a future fit for you. Consider serving meals to the homeless, helping a nonprofit set up for an event, or stop at a living assisted center and ask if there's someone who hasn't had a visitor for a long time. You can also offer to help your neighbors, family, relatives or friends with small tasks such as running errands, childcare, raking leaves, etc.

Keep notes on all you do so that at some point in the future you can talk about them in job interviews and list all the skills you've gained on a resume.

Don't forget to enjoy life, and give thanks for each day.

Blessings to you.

Thank you for your question. It depends on the career you have interest. Some careers that needs longer time to acquire the knowledge and practise skills. e.g. To be doctor, it needs long time in the medical school to learn the knowledge and be a houseman in hospital before you can start practice. Some career you can attend vocational school to learn skills. You can start the careers earlier. However, the most important is to find out the career you have interest.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Think about what you have interest, e.g. your hobbies, favourite subjects, etc. and identify the related careers,
E.g. If you like music, would you like to be a singer, musician, musical artist, music composer, music producer, etc.
If you have interest in maths, would you like to be an engineer, accountant, banker, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc.
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counsellor, your parents, etc.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Determine how you can acquire the relevant skills and knowledge for this careers and find out the entry criteria
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!
