Where/how to do lessons while being safe?
I live in Hawaii. Anyone who has ever watched "The Sound of Freedom" knows that looking for a teaching place or even a website to learn or do something can be shady or scary to find/be in. Any tips on how to find the right one? I want to look for places or teaching websites that can teach me Acting, Animation (3D/2D), Music creating, and Story-writing. (Note: Individual places/lessons are what I am looking for, not a whole place that does all that, but ones that have a mix of them would be awesome.) My budget would range, but if I can get some parts down, I can do the rest later. Anything helps!

I have recently given you advice about being an actor and I am glad you have returned to ask more questions !
You will not be able to train as a professional actor online. Anything connected to a Music Career will also need to be done in person, too. You can have your parents or other family members help you find a school that is good for you. Do you mean college or a high school ? The Animation and Story Writing (being a Writer) can be done online. It will be a matter of typing in a search engine and having your family help you make the decision about which classes from which websites to take. I recommend that you attend in person college for Acting (Theatre) and Music. It's the best path as you will meet contacts, interact with fellow student actors and musicians and that's what it's all about. Interacting in person. Your parents, friends and relatives are experts on your safety so that is best left up to them. People you already know and who know you.
So, Animation and Writing can be solitary careers if you freelance, that is, work for yourself. Music and Acting cannot and are sometimes around large crowds, too. Let's talk about your stated issue of fear which can definitely be a barrier for the Acting and Music pursuits. Being safe comes with guidance and life experience. This just may not be the time to do the music or acting and that is perfectly okay. You have to work on overcoming your barriers and later on you may feel differently. During your period of personal growth, you will gain the insight, intuition and discernment it takes to recognize what you should do in different situations. You also need to be around other actors and teachers to help you navigate the best path for acting and music. I do not know if you are in high school or college, but think about discussing your concern with your high school social worker or the academic counselor at your college. No one can actually tell you of complete businesses, schools or places that are guaranteed to be the way you want. Perhaps start with the Writing and Animation first and see how you feel a year from now. Start the acting and music once you feel more comfortable being around people. Don't give up entirely, though ! You can do it !
I hope this is helpful and I wish you all the best moving forward !
