Rebecca’s Answer

Thank you for your question. The career path is to identify the career you have interest and how to develop your career.
Below are my suggestions:
1. Think about what you have interest, eg your hobbies, favourite subjects, etc and identify the related careers
Eg if you like music, would you like to be a musician, singer, musical artist, music composer, music producer, etc
If you have interest in maths, would you like to be an accountant, engineer, banker, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counselor, your parents, etc
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges
6. Upon graduation, establish a long term career development plan and break it down into short term milestones. Review it regularly and make adjustments if necessary
Hope this helps! Good luck!

Eva’s Answer

The simplest way to think about a career pathway as a road that will guide you with the necessary education and experience to achieve your career goals. A career path does not necessarily mean moving upwards, but can incorporate lateral moves to broaden your experience and build a better foundation.
Career pathways can be very specific, and it highly depends on:
1. Where you start - or where you are at this time in your career,
2. Destination: what is your ultimate goal or career aspiration
3. What experiences you already have so you can be very targeted in your next moves.

Mercedes’s Answer

Your career journey is a path that you design yourself. The first step is to contemplate your career path, which involves a significant amount of self-awareness. You need to identify your strengths and passions. As you consider your career, it's crucial to envision where you see yourself in 2 and 5 years' time, as this will help shape your career path. Remember, it's perfectly fine for your career path to evolve as you gain expertise. Recognizing which roles will provide the necessary experience and skills to advance on your path is a vital part of constructing your career journey.
