Thank you for your question . I am glad to hear that you want to become entrepreneur and have a wide range of interest.
Below are my suggestion:
1. Think about all the industries you have interest or you have strength
2. Do some analysis on these industries, e.g. entry criteria, competition status, any alternative or substitute, etc.
3. Identify the industry you would like to start your business
4. Attend industry related courses and management courses
5. Work in the industry some time to understand the business model and establish people network
6. Start the business online first if possible.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Hi kemaurion,

It's great to see a young entrepreneur like you already thinking about your future and exploring different business avenues! Balancing a clothing brand with interests in driving trucks and construction can be challenging, but with the right approach, you can definitely carve out the path that works for you.

To start your clothing brand, focus on understanding your target market and what they want. Create unique designs that reflect your vision and values. Use platforms like Instagram and Facebook to market your products effectively; utilizing user-generated content can really help. Additionally, e-commerce sites like Shopify are user-friendly for setting up an online store. Don’t forget to analyze your sales regularly to see what works and what doesn’t, as adaptability is key in fashion.

For obtaining your Commercial Driver's License (CDL), you first need to check the requirements set by the RTO in Hyderabad. Typically, you'll need to undergo a training program that includes both theory and practical driving tests. Look for reputed driving schools that can guide you through the training necessary to pass the exam. Having a CDL opens tremendous opportunities in logistics and transportation, which are indeed lucrative fields.

On the entrepreneurship front, owning a construction or warehouse business can be rewarding. Start by gaining hands-on experience in the field, maybe through part-time jobs or internships. Understanding the ins and outs of construction processes, project management, and safety regulations is crucial. Consider studying for a degree in business or a related field, as it will help you build the necessary skills and knowledge to run a successful company.

Lastly, networking with local construction companies, attending trade shows, and even online platforms like LinkedIn can connect you with people in the industry. Don’t hesitate to take small steps; they can lead to significant opportunities!

Best of luck on your journey! Your ambition is your greatest asset, so keep pushing forward and remain open to learning.

Cheers!

Hi,
You are a great guy with high ambition to make a difference at this age being a student and why not? I have only one suggestion that don't open up too many fronts together. Focus on your old expertise of making garments like T-Shirts and related products initially and later you can think of CDL etc.
May be you start selling those products online/offline under your brand name. Once you gained some experience and money, then seek to jump in for investors, friends and partner to make it big.
You might undertake a journey to those hubs like Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, India where these are produced in bulk....all big brands source their products from this city.
You can seek further advice from me.
All the Best.

hello,
Starting your own business and becoming your own boss takes time and learning, but it’s definitely possible if you’re willing to put in the work. Since you already have experience with a clothing brand, you’re off to a good start. To grow it, focus on building a strong brand identity and expanding your marketing efforts. Learn about e-commerce platforms and how to source products efficiently. Entrepreneurship is also about understanding finance, customer service, and finding ways to stand out in a crowded market, so keep educating yourself on these aspects.

As for getting your CDL and entering the construction/warehouse business, those are separate but complementary paths. You can get your CDL after 18, and you’ll need to go through training and testing. For construction or warehouse management, it’s useful to get some hands-on experience first. Look into gaining skills in logistics, safety, and working with contractors, and don’t be afraid to start small. Your career doesn’t have to be decided all at once—take steps toward each goal, and see which one clicks the most as you learn and grow.

Good luck!

Robert’s Answer

Hi - I think you’ve asked a great question, especially as a freshman - I know I was not thinking about my career at 14 or 15 years old.
Before you work for yourself, I would highly recommend you work as an employee and gain some experience on someone else’s payroll. It would allow you to ask questions and gain knowledge.
I’d also recommend finding a mentor, someone who willingly shares their experiences (good and bad) and knowledge.
Lastly don’t put a time frame on when you “need” to be working for yourself- the right time will present itself and you will know the time to move on
I wish you the best of luck!!
