Ishan’s Career Stories
Did anyone ever oppose your career plans when you were young or push you in a direction you did not want to go?
Everyone except two people
How did you pick your career? Did you know all along?
Tried too many hobbies with super passion, ended up choosing the only one where failure wasn't experienced
What is the one piece of career advice you wish someone gave you when you were younger?
Do not take any interest and instinct lightly, give your everything to every interest, when you find the one where you do not fail, choose that one and remember - it is everything or nothing - a philosophy of high stakes: where you win everything(a peaceful brain) or you lose everything(your chance at peace)
What is the most useful piece of career advice you got as a student, and who gave it to you?
"do not pursue only one type of career for your future, you might be handicapped for life" hearing this so many times (by people who, very clearly, are not happy in their lives) made a spark in the brain to follow my instincts and interest. They did not know the advice most of them were sharing was absolutely essential to follow my own way. Choose one path and give your everything, or become a nobody and an average skilled person with money.
What is it like when your job gets tough?
if your work takes you anywhere other than a peaceful brain, your choice of profession is against your nature
When you were a student, did you do anything outside of school to build skills or get knowledge that has helped your career?
kept on learning different musical instruments to find more about my own nature
In layperson terms, what do you actually do at work?
remember a memory that is very important, translate it into music and publish that work for others to experience and relate to that emotion and hope those emotions remind them of their own memories related to that emotion
How did you start building your network?
for the first 16 years, kept the focus on working better and become great at something which is connected to my nature, then published over 250 musical works and then started to share musical services to people who might find all those works worth it
