My long term goal is to be able to consult with local companies, to improve their processes overall, while freeing up time to spend with my family & still meeting all of our financial needs. This work-life balance can be achieved with an annual income of $80k+ without a need for overtime.

What is the best way to bridge the gap between the academics (College Freshman) of Six Sigma Certifications (already reached Green Belt) and having the hands-on experiences without jumping to far ahead when seeking better job placement?
