What is the best way to bridge the gap between the academics (College Freshman) of Six Sigma Certifications (already reached Green Belt) and having the hands-on experiences without jumping to far ahead when seeking better job placement?

I was originally returning to school to get past the "paper ceiling". Through the courses that would strengthen my understanding of the industry beyond the warehouse I work for, I discovered that the Lean Production outlook, and the goals of Six Sigma and it's methodologies matched my beliefs about how to improve many things I have encountered over the years. I am now interested in a more focused career in this area, but need to bridge that gap.

Should I change my Major in my senior year from Marketing to Supply Chain Management?

I am currently a senior majoring in marketing and I found myself being unsure about my major and wishing to change it to supply chain management. I am thinking about making this switch as it appears that supply chain will give me more job stability in the future. I am 21 with no debt and would like some insight weither this is a good decision. I would also like to know if it is possible for a marketing major to work in supply chain? Is it also possible for me to switch to business management and land a career in supply chain?

What is a better minor for someone majoring in Operations Management between supply chain management and accounting?

Both interest me a great deal, but I am interested in the practicality of either degree for my major or in the job market. Thank you for any insight or advice!

How would I reach my goal if I had to stay in state for college?

I really want to go out of state for college as there's not many opportunities in South Dakota. If I were to stay in state for college, so I was wondering how I would reach my goal of a supply chain engineer, or some other supply chain job? Would an operations management minor and a management studies major be good enough, or would I have to go out of state for a supply chain management major?
