Hello Sand. The insightful responses from Christina Combs and Pamela Knight have given you a robust roadmap to delve into your personal interests. I'd like to add another intriguing, predominantly virtual but also hybrid, income opportunity for your consideration. This gives you an additional choice to ponder over. The best part is, you can experiment with any or all of these options. I'll first present this concept, outline the "job" and its income generation method, and then discuss its advantages and disadvantages to provide a thorough understanding.

Have you ever thought about becoming an independent life insurance and annuities agent? It might seem unusual to some, but there are financial firms operating similarly to Amazon's product-customer matching system, and they do it virtually. PHP (People Helping People) is one such financial services firm. This company also has an affiliated Financial Education Non-Profit organization called PMM (Paradigm Money Masters), which could be of interest if you enjoy learning or teaching.

As an agent-in-training (also known as a broker or Financial Services Specialist in training), you'll be associated with numerous life insurance and annuities companies through a simple online form, facilitated by your mentor/trainer. Post-training, you'll shadow your mentor/trainer during their virtual calls to learn. When you're ready, your trainer will invite you to participate, and eventually, they'll observe your calls until you're confident to operate independently.

Many initially earn income as a Referral Agent while raising funds for their licensing. Once licensed, the trainee can earn more and receive multiple promotions, leading to increased earnings.

Drawbacks:
1) You must be at least 18 years old.
2) In LA, the pre-licensing education and licensing costs approximately $250-$350, but you can recoup this investment relatively quickly.
3) Taking the multiple-choice licensing exam online can be stressful for some, but the education platform provides all the answers, and you have unlimited access to practice quizzes and tests to mitigate this.
4) If you prefer online income generation to avoid direct interactions, virtual communication might be challenging or stressful.

Advantages:
1) Training is provided, usually virtually.
2) These agents never face income caps or need to purchase leads, a strategy many insurance companies and agents often use. Instead, training and practice are provided on overcoming objections during your virtual appointments (via Zoom, FaceTime, etc.), which can be easily managed with a calendar app like Calendy.
3) Your mentor and a vast network of other brokers (known as your upline or sidelines) are accessible most of the day and late into the night to answer any questions or practice prospecting via call/text/Zoom/FaceTime.
4) After signing your first policy/annuity with your mentor, you start recouping your initial investment of $250-$350.
5) You can work as much or as little as you want. Work simply means scheduling appointments to talk to people, with your mentor's assistance until you can manage independently.
6) You generate income by signing up clients for policies or, when ready, training eager learners on the money-making systems.

Christina’s Answer

Hi. Determining the best app or site to earn money online depends on what you're interested in doing. Many people are looking for apps to earn online so my advice would be to sign up for different sites. Here are my recommendations:
(1) One area that I've earned extra money online is by participating in online focus groups. I'm currently with Fieldwork NRC and I've done a few online focus groups. You have to sign up for their recruitment emails and complete the pre-qualifications questionnaire. Some projects recruit teenagers and others recruit adults in different age ranges. Be honest with your responses because you never know what type of participants they are looking for. https://www.fieldwork.com/

(2) My college aged son uses an app called DScout (https://dscout.com/participate-in-research-studies). This app is for research focused missions. Social media and other companies want to understand user experiences, interactions with AI, desktop app reviews, etc. You have to use a desktop or laptop to complete the tasks as you may have to record your face or computer screen. Express missions become available to you during your second week and are 3-15 minutes tasks ranging from $1-$25. Others may take longer to complete and you can make upwards of $250 upon completion. Note that some tasks may have a minimum age requirement of 18 yrs old. My son does it in his spare time and it's an easy way to get paid for your time and opinions.

Good luck!
