what type of editing will we learn in class?

I would like to get into editing and I am curious about how the classes would be. #engineer #computer

Thank you comment icon If you're talking about video editing, check out youtube tutorials for software like Davinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere. Geoffrey Goldberg
Thank you comment icon Editing don't only need classes, you need to make out time to research and practice it yourself. I'm a good Editor, I didn't attend any class to be practically good, I learnt it myself through research, practice ( Practice makes Perfect) and my love for it; or you can pay for udemy tutorials. I used myself as an example for you to understand that it's not only classes that can make you a good editor rather you'll only have the knowledge and little practical experience. Thank you! Your question is a bit unclear as to what sorts of editing you're looking at. Copy editing and video editing are the big ones that spring to mind, but considering you've tagged "engineer" maybe there's an engineering specific type of editing I'm missing?

Whatever it is that we're talking about, classes are likely to be different in different places and cover slightly different subtopics. I'd advise looking into the course descriptions or syllabuses of whichever classes it is you're interested in to get an idea of the subtypes that might be covered.
