Perrin’s Answer

If loud noises are distracting, welding would not be a great fit. There are constantly machines making noises that require hearing protection just to be around.

Sphaler’s Answer

If you are interested in building and working with your hands you have half the battle won. If you think of welding as just a job then don't do it. Welding is a career and an art. I love welding and what I do. Making something for the world to be a better place.
