Annangarachari’s Answer

Since you are in class 10, there should be a Physical education teacher in your school, who will be having contacts with various other PET from different schools, coaches for various sports / games.

Also there should be a government/private sports complex in Bangalore, where the coaching for every sports will be happening under respective coach's supervision.

Initially start playing for school level game by contacting your PET, develop you interest in the game and with his help try to reach out to the state Kabbadi coaches who can train you better and help to participate in state / national events.

Before reaching out to your PET, have an idea how the game is played, rules and keep yourself fit for the game by exercising daily.

Sean’s Answer

Kabaddi is a contact team sport. It is popular in South Asia and is the state game of the Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab and Telangana[1] and is the national sport of Bangladesh.[2]

Kabaddi is played between two teams of seven players; the object of the game is for a single player on offence, referred to as a "raider", to run into the opposing team's half of a court, tag out as many of their defenders as possible, and return to their own half of the court, all without being tackled by the defenders. Points are scored for each player tagged by the raider, while the opposing team earns a point for stopping the raider. Players are taken out of the game if they are tagged or tackled, but can be "revived" for each point scored by their team from a tag or tackle.

The game is known by its regional names in different parts of the subcontinent, such as kabaddi or chedugudu in Andhra Pradesh, kabaddi in Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana, hadudu in Bangladesh, bhavatik in Maldives, kauddi or kabaddi in the Punjab region, hu-tu-tu in Western India and hu-do-do in Eastern India and chadakudu in South India.
