The salary varies in different states and it also depends on whether you have a college degree or not. I am also not a welder but I that it depends on many things such as education, experience, and location. But the thing that I do know for sure is that is a very well paid career.

I'm not a welder but I did look up some numbers. The average pay for a welder in Tx is about 22.50 an hour. However, there's a lot of difference depending on where you are in the state. Also, Nm and Louisiana pay more on average while Ok pays less.
