This question is a bit on the personal note but I'd greatly appreciate any answer. I have been to a different school for the past four years (I'm a Junior in HS) and late last year we came to a town where I thought I'd finally finish my HS years and go to a college near me. (I live in Louisiana) Last night my mother told me our lease was up and we were going to have to move out in July. I have two choices: I can stay with my mom and go to Lake Charles with her, Or, I can move with my dad in Texas and finish my education there including college(I want to become a Registered Nurse). My mom said she won't help me financially if I go to my dads. Please don't tell me that It's up to me because I really don't know, and I am just going to go to my dad's house without knowing if it's the right choice. Any advice is welcome, thanks.

What is good advice to get prepared for Teacher Certification Exams?

I am currently studying an undergraduate degree on Middle School Education in Texas. Although I am about to start my second year of college, I will be graduating earlier than usual and would like to start getting prepared for the certification tests. I am kind of concerned since I am an international student from Mexico and I am not yet 100% familiarized with the American education system, and I think it would be key to perform better on the tests. #education #JULY20 #JULY #teachercertification #career #college #ESL #Texas

I am a current adult student completing the required academic course work by the BACB; however, to fulfill the 1500 fieldwork hours, I need is a practicum site and a supervisor. I work during the day. That is why I am willing to volunteer after 5 p.m. during the week and anytime on the weekends. I live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I prefer not to have to quite my day job since I am a single parent, but I will, if I have to. Any suggestions? Thank you, #volunteering #nonprofit #volunteer #texas #bcba

New Computer Engineer Graduate Seeking First Job in Austin, Texas

Recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in #Computer #Engineering on 5/5/2018 from Utah State University. Need to specifically find my first engineering job only in the #Austin, #Texas area because my family is living there. It's been nearly four months and I have applied for dozens of jobs via LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor and still no luck. I've only had one employer contact me back. That particular phone interview went well, then they gave me a coding competency test which I passed, but they still selected another candidate. I can get a technical support job easily enough at terribly low pay, but it's not development. I have a resume website at http://www.joel-meine.com/ that I created. Maybe it's because I'm not living in Austin, Texas yet, but soon I will be on August 29. Just feeling rather discouraged that I've had no luck landing my first engineering job by now. I wish I knew what I was doing wrong.
