What are some good companies for software engineering?

I want to know some companies that I should strive towards.

I think you should strive towards getting better at whatever you like in Computer Programming. Dont worry about the Companies. Here's why. There are thousands and thousands of them and thousands new come up every month. So there will never be a dearth of companies, rather there will be a shortage of Good Computer People. And guess what, once you are good at it, you can even start your own company!
You see where I am getting at? This is a field that has almost unlimited potential. sky is the limit. So dont worry about this aspect.

This depends on what you want to get out of those companies. Are you looking to boost your resume, or are you looking where you will have the most personal growth? Do you want the most compensation or the best work life balance. Once you have more an idea of whats important to you, you will get a better answer. In short there are many many good companies for software engineers both inside and outside of the tech sector.

What areas of tech interest you? Security? Gaming? Networking? Software? What industry are you interested in? There are so many - if you can be more specific you can build a more specific list...
