What video editing software should I use on my phone?
I want to make my videos look really good for tiktok and maybe eventually youtube but I don't know what video editing software to use and I don't want to just put it on said app straight off my phone if I didn't film it there in the first place. I have capcut but I want something else free and for on a phone that might be a bit more professional. Plus, I'm not allowed to have a laptop yet except for the one for school but that is very monitored and restricted plus it's for school. Thanks you so much for the help and looking forward to the it, thank you again.

On iOS iMovie is a good tool & is also available on the Mac. More advanced editing tools would include things like Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve. iMovie is free on both iOS & Mac, so it's a good place to start.
The above assumes you are shooting video directly on your phone or with something like an action camera. If you are using a higher quality camera, you might prefer to use Final Cut Pro or Premiere or one of the other tools as they have more advanced color grading options than a simple tool like iMovie would have. If you are using a 360 camera, like the Insta360 OneX2, you can use their phone app, and they also have a desktop one for more advanced editing. The tools like FCP & Premiere can also work with 360 footage with plugins.

If you're looking to edit YouTube videos, you might need a laptop as you'll be doing more complex editing and working with larger files
