Tanique’s Answer

Hi Jun Yu, this is such a great question and want to commend you first and foremost for thinking about how can you begin to prepare for your career while you are still in high school.

One's career path may take several different turns during their working lifetime, so as you begin to look at that journey, start by learning to identify what are the areas in which you have a strong desire, for example, ask your teachers what are some of the strengths they notice in you that you probably don't take note of and write those down. As you continue to do that start researching industries and job descriptions that interest you and learn more about them. You will want to narrow your research down to a few specific industries so that you wont get overwhelmed in the process.

Take your time to create your list Jun Yu and you will eventually know which career path you should take. Here is a free resource that can support you in knowing more about your strengths.

1- Remember, a square peg doesn't fit a round hole. So best is to identify what you are cut out for, or reshape & reskill for your dream goals.
2- Once you understand where you want to go, use SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound) framework to plan
