That is awesome on deciding a potential career path in high school, most people do not know what they want to do until they actually get into college! For USF, I would look into their website about the program and major, as it will give you a detailed 4-year plan on what classes are required to be taken along with the electives you can also pick. I would also research the AP website to see what AP courses awarded what class for a specific university, in your case USF. Sometimes higher AP scores award more classes being exempted as well. This can help with what classes to take in high school to help you get a head start with some college credit. Also, there is dual enrollment options available as well, in case some AP courses are not offered at your school or would like to take other college courses that AP does not cover. Hope this helps!

An architect typically designs buildings and structures, creating plans that illustrate how they will look and guiding the construction process. To explore subjects related to architecture, consider taking courses such as AP Calculus AB and BC, AP 2-D Art and Design, AP 3-D Art and Design, and AP Art History.
If engineering interests you, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Physics C: Mechanics, and AP Environmental Science are also beneficial. To better prepare yourself for the application process and understand GPA requirements, consult your college counselor or research the USF undergraduate prerequisites.
Stay positive, and good luck on your journey!

Tas - Congratulations on selecting a path toward a career in Architecture. I am guessing that you have already completed an interest inventory of some sort that has pointed you in this direction. Advanced mathematics and science courses along with a possible CTE course in drafting (emphasizing CAD technology) would be a great start. If you have local partners in the construction industry or local architects, as well as remote contacts through Career Village, I would recommend listening carefully to their advice. Good luck with the future plans.
