Hello Kaylee,
Start by engaging in some self-reflection: Identify the activities that spark joy in you, that invigorate you and make you feel fulfilled. If you're uncertain about what these might be, don't hesitate to reach out to your friends and family for their observations about what brings you joy.
Equally crucial is recognizing what you genuinely dislike doing, enabling you to eliminate those options from your consideration.
Once you've identified your passions and dislikes, you can begin exploring careers that align with your interests. This approach will lead you towards a career that not only motivates you but also brings you joy. Utilize resources like local career libraries at schools or universities, or even simple Google searches. Attend career fairs, ask acquaintances about their jobs, and maintain a sense of curiosity about the various professions out there.
As you start to hone in on potential careers, consider the kind of lifestyle you aspire to. Will the career you're considering provide the lifestyle you desire? Remember, work should support your life, not the other way around.
Lastly, don't feel limited by existing careers. The professional landscape is constantly evolving, with some roles disappearing and new ones emerging. Therefore, cultivating flexibility and adaptability in your skills and mindset will position you well for future opportunities.

Find what it is that you love to do and start there. Can you have a career doing what it is that you love to do ( something you would do for free ) ?
Explore the career options around it.
These days, you can find a way to monetize a lot of things.
An example, I recently saw a guy driving around neighborhoods and randomly selecting houses that needed their grass cut. Abandoned homes in a neighborhood, Elderly home owners, disabled home owners, etc.
He would cut their grass absolutely free.
He recorded himself doing the work and the reaction of the people.
He posts it on Social Media and his Youtube channel ---- He makes money from this.
Start with what you love to do and go from there.

What sparks your curiosity? Who are the individuals that inspire you? Take a moment to observe those around you. Is there someone you admire, someone you'd like to emulate, or a certain type of work that you can see yourself doing? Alternatively, consider what you absolutely do not want to do, and then explore the opposite direction. Generally, it's beneficial to choose a path that aligns with your strengths. You'll likely find more joy in it and be able to sustain it for a longer period. Remember, when you do what you love and are good at, it hardly feels like work at all!

The best strategy is to just dive in and try something that piques your curiosity. If it doesn't excite you, fear not! Feel free to explore other avenues. If those don't fit your taste, keep looking. Finding your true passion isn't a snap-of-the-fingers kind of thing. It requires specific life experiences and a drive to accomplish something. So, don't hold back, just go for it. This will help you unearth your real purpose.

To add to the good advice of: Make a list of your passions, things that interest you, hobbies you have, things you enjoy doing, things you are curious about and talk to people that do those things if you can.
There are also lots of free "career assessment" tools out there. You basically take a "test" that ask you questions, will analyze your personality and skills and suggest career paths that you may be a good fit for. This can be helpful since you may not even know if that is something that exists in the world.

Hello Kaylee.
How to Decide What to Do in Life: Best Tips for Deciding on a Career
Deciding on a career path can be a daunting task, as it often involves considering various factors such as personal interests, skills, values, and market demand. Here are some tips to help you make an informed decision about your career:
Self-Assessment: Before making any decisions about your career, it’s essential to conduct a thorough self-assessment. This involves identifying your strengths, weaknesses, interests, values, and personality traits. Various tools and assessments are available to aid in this process, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Holland Code, and StrengthsFinder. These assessments can provide valuable insights into your preferences and tendencies, helping you align your career choice with your inherent characteristics.
Explore Your Interests: Take the time to explore different fields and industries that pique your interest. Consider engaging in internships, volunteering, or part-time work in areas that appeal to you. This hands-on experience can offer valuable exposure to various career paths and help you determine whether a particular field aligns with your passions and aspirations.
Research Career Options: Conduct thorough research on potential career options. Look into the job outlook, salary potential, required qualifications, and daily responsibilities associated with different professions. Additionally, consider speaking with professionals in the fields you’re interested in to gain firsthand insights into the realities of those careers.
Seek Mentorship: Mentorship can be invaluable when making career decisions. Identify individuals who have achieved success in fields that interest you and seek their guidance. Mentors can offer advice, share their experiences, and provide valuable networking opportunities that can aid in your career exploration.
Education and Skill Development: Consider pursuing education or training that aligns with your desired career path. Whether it’s obtaining a degree, acquiring certifications, or developing specific skills, investing in your education can open doors to various opportunities within your chosen field.
Evaluate Work-Life Balance: When contemplating a career choice, consider the work-life balance associated with different professions. Some careers may demand long hours and high levels of stress, while others offer more flexibility and autonomy. Assessing how a particular career aligns with your lifestyle preferences is crucial in making an informed decision.
Adaptability and Growth Potential: Assess the adaptability and growth potential of different career paths. In today’s rapidly evolving job market, it’s essential to consider professions that offer opportunities for continuous learning, skill development, and advancement.
Networking: Building a professional network can significantly impact your career decisions. Attend industry events, join professional associations, and connect with individuals who can provide valuable insights and potential opportunities within your chosen field.
Consider Your Values: Reflect on your personal values and how they align with various career options. Consider whether a particular profession allows you to contribute to causes or initiatives that hold significance for you.
Trial and Error: Sometimes the best way to decide on a career is through trial and error. Don’t be afraid to explore different paths and make adjustments along the way based on what resonates most with you.
In conclusion, deciding on a career requires careful consideration of personal attributes, interests, market trends, and lifestyle preferences. By conducting thorough self-assessment, exploring diverse opportunities, seeking mentorship, and staying open to new experiences, you can make an informed decision about your future career path.
The sources used for this response include authoritative publications such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), The Balance Careers by Dotdash publishing family which provides expert-written content on various topics including careers and education-related matters; and Harvard Business Review (HBR), known for its high-quality articles on business management strategies and professional development.
Don't forget to read my autobiography, paying attention to the foods that provide all the essential nutrients for effective studying. These are brain nutrients, like the B complex vitamins and the mineral magnesium. You might discover that you can accomplish twice as much academic work in half the time. Your performance in exams and assignments could also improve, especially if your diet has significantly improved. Replenishing missing nutrients can do wonders.
