Most professors will provide very helpful test prep. The key is to find when, where, and how they share that information. Go to open office hours, lab hours, and/or study halls asking specifically about each test. Once you learn how to get the test specific information, make sure you study that material. Know how to present, defend, write an essay, or answer questions about those specific topics in the manner your professor wants and including ALL relevant points your professor is looking for. This is KEY! You may know the material and answer questions correctly, but if you don't include ALL that the points needed for full points, you'll miss out on the A+.

This is a great question. What I would simply recommend is to stay focused and find a close group of friends with same interests. Or if even, a close group of friends in which you all can study together and aid in each other's studying process. For me, I found a great group of friends that eventually became my roommates. We helped each other with studying for certain quizzes, tests, etc; and made sure to keep each other knowledgeable and aware for what each of us had coming up.
Additionally, I would recommend to purchase a planner and record everything that needs to get done and completed by that certain day. This helped me tremendously when I was attending college, in which it helped me to stay organized and on top of every quiz, test, and assignment. It relieved plenty of stress as well, in which I had more free time to hang with friends.
