Hi! Perhaps looks at joining a volunteer organization such as Civil Air Patrol, which will introduce you to aerospace opportunities and teach you leadership, emergency service skills etc. Many of the cadets have gone on to find careers in the aviation field or emergency services field after being in the program.
There is also the Explorers club - which works with law enforcement.

Agree with Wayne, and also remember that the path you choose now doesn't mean you are locked into that career forever. It's just where your career starts. Find what you enjoy doing and make a career out of that. If/when your desires change, you can always look at switching careers.
Search on LinkedIn for people who have jobs that you may like to have and connect with them. Find out what they did right and what they wish they could do over and learn from their mistakes.

Hello Timberlan,
Just a friendly suggestion - consider connecting with your school's career counselor. They are experts, equipped with the right skills to guide you. Also, if your school organizes career information sessions, make the most of them. Attend as many as you can, you might just find something that truly excites you. Remember, the earlier you identify your career path, the more time you have to prepare and excel in it.
Wishing you all the best on your journey.
Take care,
Wayne.

Great answers above! Also, with the rise in social media, there are tons of "Day in the Life" videos, where you could see what a specific career may entail. Another great way to learn more is through networking (adults at your school may be able to help point you in the right direction), as well as volunteering and internships!

There is a website called collegeboard.org. On there you can take an interest survey to give you some ideas of careers that match your interests. From there you can check out the occupational outlook handbook to see what those careers entail and how to get there. Here's the link. https://www.bls.gov/ooh/
