Hi Jurica, You can use CareerVillage as a way to connect with professionals from around the world who volunteer their time to answer your questions. You can ask any question you want as long as it has to do with planning for your future! to your education, career, personal development, or planning for your future success – ask it. What is cool is that if you ask a question about a specific job, you might get an answer from someone who is actually working in that industry or who has been through what you're going through. Basically, anytime you want to get more people's perspectives on a topic you're interested in or something you're wondering about, ask it here and see what advice you get! You can also learn on CareerVillage by checking out the questions that other students have asked and seeing what advice they've received. I recommend searching different tags in the search bar based on the topics you are interested in and seeing what pops up. There is also this article you can check out with more resources to inspire you on what kinds of questions you could ask on CareerVillage.org:
https://www.careervillage.org/articles/tips-and-tricks/asking-questions-on-careervillage-org/ Just know that CareerVillage is a community of people who want to help and pass on their knowledge to students.

William’s Answer

Every business needs a website, and websites generally need a database. You do not have to go into programming, but it is a growing industry that provides well paying jobs. I wish I had studied databases more in college. Today NoSql, MongoDB, JavaScript & Linux are some of the most important topics to learn if you want a career in programming.
