Absolutely, I'm right there with you! The fashion industry holds a special place in my heart. The idea of owning my own brand is more than just a dream, it's a passion. However, without a thorough understanding of the clothing industry, you might find it hard to find the right path. From my personal journey, I've learned that launching a brand without proper planning and based on assumptions can lead to disappointment. The most effective way to inch closer to your dream is by immersing yourself in the industry. Start by working for a brand that aligns with your interests, soak up as much knowledge as you can, gain invaluable experience, and continuously strive to better yourself. This way, you're not just dreaming, you're actively working towards making your dream a reality.

Hi Lyric! Well right now I just started working in a bank. It's a cool experience. I'm learning lots of things that I didn't know before and I'm glad I could get this kind of experience now. I get to work with people and talk to them everyday. People are full of surprises and you never know what they will say next. Some customers are nice, and some not so nice. But you just learn how to work with lots of different types of people, which is challenging but great! I want to learn more about banking and other types of jobs involving money.
Those are cool career paths you're thinking about. Maybe you can take some classes or watch some informative YouTube videos to learn more about them. I wish you good luck in your future!

Hi Lyric. Glad to hear you're interested in entrepreneurship. My daugther is part of a entrepreneurship group in the SF bay area. I am certain there are opportunities similar to that near you. If you aren't involved in those then I'd highly recommend them. It's a great way to connect with other people who are like minded and interested in building, scaling, and operating businesses of different types. Good luck!

While my passion lies in numerous areas, the demanding nature of medical school often restricts my ability to delve into them. However, I've found ways to keep my curiosity alive. I maintain an active blog (https://medium.com/@MedSchTimes), where I share my thoughts and experiences. I also create engaging videos about fruits on TikTok (https://www.tiktok.com/@sholicks?lang=en), a fun and creative outlet for me. In addition, I'm always on the lookout for writing opportunities and am currently engaged in an online course with McKinsey and Company. So, even amidst my busy schedule, I continue to explore and learn. The takeaway is this: Embrace your interests and never stop seeking out new opportunities to learn and grow!

Hello! I started my career in Human Resources, focusing on recruitment. I didn't like the corporate life, though, and left that career after five years. I moved into the creative industry as a writer. I've done freelance/contract work and FT employment for a variety of companies. I also manage my own business as an author, including overseeing the website and promotions. Being an entrepreneur is a lot of a fun but a lot of work! So make sure it's something you are passionate about and willing to invest time in, even when business is slow.
