Thank you for your question. This is very good and common questions that many students have. Firstly, you need to find a career you have interest
Below are my suggestions :
1. Think about what you have interest, e.g. your hobbies, favorite subjects, etc. and identify the related careers
E.g. If you like music, would you like to be a singer, musical artist, musician, music producer, music composer, etc.
If you have interest in maths, would you like to be an accountant, engineer, financial analyst, banker, maths teacher, etc.
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counsellor, your mentor, etc.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in the college
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Hey, as a beginner you can try working on different jobs or try volunteering. Based on that you'll definitely find out what you like to do. That was my experience.

Hello Alexis,
It's quite normal to worry about not finding joy in your work. Every job has its highs and lows, but it's crucial that the good days outnumber the bad ones in your professional journey. The people you work with, including your colleagues and superiors, significantly influence your job satisfaction and overall success.
When you're exploring potential employers, it's a good idea to inquire about any volunteer activities they offer that align with your interests. This can be a great way to broaden your perspectives, both within the organization and in areas that you're passionate about.
Remember, it's never too late to make a change. Identifying what you dislike can be just as valuable as discovering what you love. So, keep exploring and refining your preferences. You're on the right path to finding a career that brings you joy and fulfillment.
